Very nice setup and the finches look great. I eventually want to get cordon bleus and stars and owls.
Society Finches, Fire Finches, Strawberry Finches, Owl Finches, Plum Head Finch, Goldbreast Waxbill Finches, Orange Cheek Waxbill Finches, Blue Capped Cordon Finches, Zebra Finches, Bronzewing Mannikin Finches, Red-Cheek Cordon Blue Finches, and Button Quail

thank you, I love my new flight, I'v had a great time setting it up adding things here and there, my birds love the sundeck and they like the ladder I have placed on its side, that way they can all perch. I love my BCCB and my RCCB and my single star finch, I'm going to a bird show this weekend and I hopeing to find some owls.

Beautiful birds and lovely cage!! The only thing I didn't see was some natural perches. Do you have any in there? If not, when you go to the bird show this weekend they should have some you can pick up. They are just so much better for their feet. Also some textured one will keep you from having to cut their nails so much. That's a great cage. Which one is it?

What a great setup you have. Your bird photos are wonderful! My goal is to someday get a double HQ flight cage so I can get more finches....I just have the single HQ cage right now as that is all I have room for....darn! :?

Wonderful setup! Yep, I am really thinking about the double HQ. I watch my Gouldians and I see how they would really like more space to fly in.

And then I can get one more pair, two CBs just like your gorgeous couple!

Post by kylehca » Sat Aug 23, 2008 5:25 pm

Very nice setup, right now I have the L01 vision cage and have a silverbill and redeared waxbill. they were singles in the store, they get along great.
I am not sure if I could get the double flight cage here in Canada, I am looking. It sure would be a very nice setup.

I cant figure out what i want to do. Right now i have a mixed aviary that is 5' long 3' tall and 2' wide with 8 goulds, 2 stars, 2 bronze wings, 2 societys, Im thinking that i will have a aviary in a room of the house and then have like 5 or 6 HQ double flights for the ones that i want certain colors of. I dunno.

I will be getting the HQ double flight cage, as soon as I move to my new house, I am planning on using it as an indoor aviary, very excited about the planning of it.
