New addition!

Post by dfcauley » Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:39 pm

Here is a picture of my new baby I got yesterday at the bird mart.
I REALLY wasn't going to buy another gouldian, but he was just sitting in that cage looking around and singing with the cutest little face. I couldn't leave him there could I?

He really does have a cute face, and when we have space in our cages/aviary, how can we NOT fill it?

Wow, that is a good looking bird. I must admit I would have got him too if I saw him, hope he brings you lotsa joy.

Thanks all! He has adjusted quite well to his new home. He is already doing the happy dance for a few of the "girls" and is singing his heart out.
He is just a cutie!

Hello everyone, I'm new in here and here is my first question. Maybe dfcauley can help me. I Have 2 pairs of gouldians. 1 RH,PB,GB female, her mate is a RH,PB,YB male. The other pair the female looked like a RH,PB,GB now that is almost done molting looks like a BH,PB, and the back has a little bit of blue. Her mate looks almost like yours except that it has a white breast. I've had him for 8 moths it molted already but I have not seen him sing or dance around like my other male. I was told that it might be a female. Also the tip of its beak is red.
