At the moment yes...just zebras until the young color out, some will be rehomed....thinking of adding maybe white headed nuns or blue face parrot finches.

Thank you Dante!!! The tree trimmers came early this mornng. I dragged some limbes and branches around back to trim and scrub down...can't wait to get real branches in the aviary!!

Re: Our Aviary .....
Everything is raised on the plant stands as you suggested...It works well in that it keeps the bedding out of dishes.

Re: Our Aviary .....
I will most likely remove the zebras from the aviary...they are bickering and some that have been so use to cages are not handling it well and are now back in cages.
I am going to do branches and lots of greens and put all my owls from two flights in the aviary...they will appreciate the 8 feet to fly. Zebras stay mostly to the top except to feed, the owls will use alost all the space to fly and move about.
The two 5 ft long flights the owls are in now will be change over to male and female flights for my extra zebras and zebras for sale.
I am currently looking for a different species to house in with the owls. Blue faced parrot finches are tops on my list. I will also look for another pair of lavendars. The pair I have already will go in with the owls. The owls all do well in a colony....in a way doing this change will brings back a memory of the lady that had owls at one of the local shows along time ago. She housed them in aviaries with as much of a natrual setting as possible, even leaves on the floor for them to forage around in. I was inspired.

Re: Our Aviary .....
I think that would be great for the owls. Can I suggest gouldians to mix with the owls? There song and dance is very cute and the colors would be great!
