Wowzers...James!!

That background paper looks so realistic....I love it! And that waterfall is wonderful too....what a great idea.

Do your birds go near the waterfall and sit on it at all or do they keep their distance?

Looks great! I am also interested in the waterfall. I got a tabletop fountain for my aviary and my birds haven't gone near it. Which has surprised me.

Wouldn't you have to take out and clean every day, would fill up with droppings? seems like a lot of work, but it sure looks great.

water fall

Post by James » Mon Jul 07, 2008 7:36 am

I put filters in it, around the pump, so i only have to take it out once a week for cleaning. they don't goto it yet but I think that is because of the noise but they are getting use to that. I turn the pump off at night and they will goto it then.

I moved my Sociatys into the other half of the Hq16421 Double Flight, and as the others still would not go near the water falls when it was running I moved it to the other side with the sociatys. It was in there running no more than ten minutes before the first one was taking a drink.
