My canaries - red factor and mosaics

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

I Did not show....although I am very interested in starting perhaps next year a little bit. I was just there to check it all out, bought some finches and supplies though!!! :D :D

Some hens on eggs. Have an Ino pair that have babies. One died so down to 2 babies. :( dang...oh well, more clutches to go.

A baby Ino. Sadly the only one left. Not using this hen to breed again. She produces nice offspring like this one but she is too unpredictable hence one out of three babies left.

Starting to color out...had kind of a rough year with some pairs so not as many offspring as I wanted but oh well. I will be changing things up a bit next year on what and how I breed.

Snuck in a pic of my chickens too. New Hampshire Reds, Cuckoo Maran and Welsummers.
