90% sure double factor?

Post by Gouldian4 » Fri Jan 11, 2013 7:50 am

Hi can can somebody help me with my male yellow back.
One of my friends was over today and assures me that this guy is a single factor. I don't believe he is due to the white under his chin. I'm 90% sure he is a double factor yellow however now my friend has me second guessing my self. Can any body please shed a bit of light on this for me

The colors on my monitor make him look double factor to me. If he was single factor he would have a grey chin.
Beautiful bird, best of luck!

If he were SF with PB, then his back would be dilute...so yes, he is DF. :)

Definitely a double factor yellow! And what a beauty! I miss my male so much. Haven't been able to find one like him since. :(

Yeah the single factors usually have that tinge of lime greeney yellow to their back. Also a very stunning bird Lori! He looks like he's a yellow head too, if I'm correct?

Absolutely double Yellow male. He can't be single factor, since he got Purple Breast and Yellow back. 8)

I think what he means is if he was "SF Yellow," because he has a PB, his back would appear Lime-green/Greenish Yellow as opposed to pure yellow like Simon's male. :)
