Wicker nest for green singer finches???

I have 1 green singer finch. He is a little boy

I was wondering if he'd enjoy a nest/wicker basket in his cage. If yes, what kind? Open nest, like a cup maybe?

Hello, I am new to this forum and new to owning finches, but I have two green singing finches also. I had a wicker nest in there for them for a while but all they did was sit on top of it. We eventually just took it out to make more room for them to flit about. I haven't tried any other type of nests, but I do know my finches are in love with their hanging hay basket!

Green singers prefer open-top nests, often called canary nests.
