Is three a crowd?

Post by newfinchmom » Fri Dec 01, 2006 11:19 pm

I was thinking of getting a third finch to add in with my cordon bleu and society finch. . . any advice on that? It would be a totally different breed, I think. I'm afraid if I put another society finch in there, then the bleu could be picked on or totally ignored??? Possible??

I don't know if I would mess with the bond that your society and cb have. Introducing a third bird, whatever the spieces, will rock the boat. Unless you go with one of the more standoffish types like Goulds. They don't want to cuddle with anyone!

I agree with TammieB on this - it really depends on what type of species you are considering to add.
