Check out www.ladygouldianfinch.com (has 15% off your entire order right now) or www.ladygouldian.com, or www.glamgouldians.com. You will be able to find everything you need to maintain all of your birds :D .

There is Bird Supply of New Hampshire which may save you shipping costs that would have all you need too.

Here's a link to the parasite page https://www.birdsupplynh.com/catalog/in ... a3787ee3a2

For air sac mites they have Scatt or Ivermectin
For worms they have Worm Out Gel
For feather mites and other creepy crawlies they have Avian Insect Liquidator aka AIL

Welcome to the forum :D

Thanks so much for the information. I'm still trying to figure out what to give when though. Are there certain meds I should give on a regular basis for prevention? All of my birds are newcomers within the last ten days and all appear healthy but is there an initial treatment I should give? Thx!

Here's a very good article on quarantine procedures and why:

That would be a good starting point

I think most on here will agree that a quarantine procedure, like the one Debbie linked to, is an absolute must. This is especially impoprtant if your new birds are coming from different sources. They could potentially each be carrying something from their aviary of origin, and now exposing each other to various things.
As far as maintenance, I've read different views on this, depending on individual setups, whether they are housed inside or outside, number of birds, and even specific species.
Personally, I don't do any maintenance, because I only have 8 birds, and I do have a battery of stuff on hand, in case of symptoms of illness. Finchers with lots of birds might benefit from doing routine treatments for some things, like worms or air sac mites, for example, because they stand to lose a lot more (financially), if their flock is struck with illness. I think most will agree that no matter the size of the flock, doing at little as you can, while maintaining a healthy flock is the best course of action, because medications can take a toll on finches' systems and bodies, just as in humans.
