Clay-cal

Post by nelloyello11 » Sat Apr 20, 2013 12:10 am

I just recently discovered this. I know some people on here have mentioned using it. Those of you that do, do you crush it at all? It seems a little large for finches....

I used the one from Mountain Rose Herbs

it's a powder that I put in a little bowl.

I use Hagen's Clay-cal, and I don't crush it at all. I put it in small cups and offer it free choice. I add crushed eggshell to it, especially in breeding cages. I might try crushing it and see if that makes any difference, though they seem to be eating it now.
