Hey Will :!: :!: :D I have lots of plexiglass left from when I had it on the outside backs of my cages. If I want to cut it & make a box for INSIDE the cage like you did, could I just tape the 4 corners & bottom sides instead of drilling holes & attaching with screws :?: :?: :?: ;;) *-:) :-k

For heavier or larger pieces go to Home Depot or Lowes with exact measurements and they will cut it for you to size.
We have 3 Home depot's on SI and not one of them will cut anything to size...customer service in NYC is terrible :( .

IDK if the tape would hold cause you would have to put a piece inside and outside the cage and sandwich it together...

I just went and bought 3 pieces from Hobby Lobby...called and priced it from glass installers and it was crazy expensive. May keep my eyes on posters at dollar stores but I figure that I can get several strips out of the 36x28 piece at hobby Lobby. And as to Home Depot not cutting - it is the same here. And the prices are higher. I have used these Hobby Lobby plexiglass sheets for cage seperators and found that it is easy to score with a box cutter and break. The electrical tape will further insure that any sharp edges will not harm the birds.

Instead of tape could you use a fine strip of Velcro on the back edge of the main cage joints and the edged of the plexiglass, making sure that the birds do not have contact with it.
