Thanks Lisa ! The fourth picture is a male named "Amarelo." He is the baldies brother. Thanks for your support. I have purchased the Feather Fast as recommended and look forward to his recovery.

On a completely other note, do you have a picture of your Fire Finch? Would you happen to have a female?

Sincerely,
Joa

I do have a pair of fire finches (male/female). I just got them last month. The male is suffering from a bit of feather loss of his own, although it is slowly growing back in. Unfortunately, although they sleep in the nest, no activity as of yet!

They're sweet birds, not very skittish and seem very inquisitive.

Here's a couple of pics of mine, this is Holly (f) and Berry (m):

Poor little Chupi! When I got my star finch, Merlin, he was really bald. It grew back within a few months, and they defnitely look better with hair

Zebrafincher - Chupi is a very inquisitive little guy. Today I left his door half open to observe his reaction. He would pop his head out, taste freedom for a split second and pop his head back in. I gradually opened the door more and more, and interestingly enough he did not fly out!

I will post a couple of pics in a second.

regards,
Joa

I am happy to hear Merlin's feathers grew back. Hopefully Chupi's dew will come in as well.

Pics as promised:
