Introducing Our Canaries

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Hi, its been quite awhile since I have really been on the forum, but I thought I would introduce our canaries we got a few months ago. Here's Chester and Tang ...

Tang belongs to my mother and because she lives with us we have dueling canaries. :)

Very nice - thanks for sharing. Your crested male looks a lot like my old male who still sings like a champ at 8 years old. Good luck with them! Bob

Thanks all. We enjoy them, took us nearly a year to decide to get a canary. Then two! The deciding factor was that Chester, the crested one, is sooo cute! Now they are both molting and it is very quiet around here. Except for our cockatiel, Spotty, who is desperately trying to imitate them. Poor thing, he just doesn't have the voice for it. :)

I love your Canaries! My love for bird came from my mother's bird, Kramer, who was a gloster with a hairdo like CHester's!
