New Canary
This is Hansel, my new canary. I know he's variegated, but he looks like he has bronze in him. What do you think??? The lighting in the pics isn't great, but you can get the idea. Thanks

Re: New Canary
Very handsome! I'm definitely jealous. I hope to have a canary of my own someday.

Thank you...he's a sweetie pie too! Get yourself one...or two
. They are adorable and hysterical too. My hen Gretel clucks like a little chicken. She is sooo pretty. Actually has a girly face.

Oh, he's so pretty! Oops, I mean handsome.
Are you going to let them make baby canaries some day?

Sam007
Thanks Sam
. I was just playing canary songs to him fro you-tube, and he has the trill down...just waiting to hear some other new sounds from him. But the quality of his song is very different from my hen. She has lots of different sounds, but they are more muted, raspy and not as clear.
Thanks Sam

Re: New Canary
I would consider him green, but he may have some red factor or bronze mixed in there somewhere. Again, with colorbreds, those are just colors - and colors are subject to interpretation. He is very handsome and that particular color is very close to that of the wild type canary living in the Canary Islands. They are generally very hardy. Good luck with him! Bob
