Tongue wagging/twirling whatever! :P

Although they are technically passerines, canaries tend to be managed uniquely, so here is a forum just for them!

Tongue wagging/twirling whatever! :P

Post by Beaker'sMom » Sun Jul 14, 2013 6:43 pm

I'm just wondering if it's normal for canaries to waggle their tongue with an open beak? Beaker does this often and at first I thought it was the mites, but we've got those under control. Is this normal canary behavior or something else that needs to be addressed? Thanks in advance. :D

Sometimes they do this when they get a seed hull stuck in their mouth. From the videos that you posted, there doesn't appear to be anything wrong with her/him. Bob
