Deal of the day at amazon!!! Prevue 3 Tier Cage Stand

So i purchased the Prevue Pet Products Flight Cage, White yesterday and was looking for a cage stand to put it on and the only thing that it fits was Prevue Pet Products Three Tier Cage Stand. And it was 169.99!!!!! 3 times more than the cage itself and got pissed. Told my wife and we went to ikea to look for a table or a tv stand that would fit. Ofc nothing fits precise but we still purchased a tv stand to use. We noticed we forgot the dolly upstairs and decided to carry it out tomorrow since we are both tired to carry it or to get the dolly and go downstairs to parking lot etc.

Anyway we left the ikea purchase in the car and got home. Turned on my pc and told my wife ``look this is what i was talking about.......VOILA! price dropped to 79.76 in less than 12 hrs lol.

That is a really good price for that stand. Country Feathers, which usually has good prices for cages, etc., is asking $100 for that stand.

Oh Goodness I just realized this was JUST the stand, not including the cages. Oh my. I quickly cancelled my order and was successful

Thanks for the heads up on this. I didn't know that this kind of stand existed. Am now considering buying one although I will just have to buy two more cages ha ha as I only have one at the moment.

Just one question tho. Whilst I love the size of this cage the one draw back that I have with it is that the wire bottom cant be removed for cleaning. Everytime I wipe it down with a damp cloth the birds go into a mild panic!!!!

How do you clean yours?????? (if you dont mind me asking )

Simon we just purchased the case this week aswell haven`t cleaned yet. I have the same question in my mind I will probably use a brush and clean bottom part from outside while it`s on the cage stand. I`m used to their panic because they panic if we are closer than 2 foot to cage wires

I deleted the extra post for you.

Wiping down the grates is the only way to clean them unfortunately. I also cover mine with newspaper, but finches will be finches, and the paper is often moved aside, so still need to wipe down the grate.

They do sell this type of cage now with removable grates which would make cleaning easier. I have not seen these "in person" so can't say how easily they are removed and replaced.

before I got my f040 I thought of stacking flights... I have a shelf in my shed that is hard plastic with honeycomb shelves...

the shelves are 20" apart...

holds a lot of weight... on the top is a dorm fridge (for beer of course)

Thanks for the feedback folks, guess I'll continue to wipe down the bottom of the cage. Still not sure if I'm going to buy the stand and extra cages and therefore more finches he he!!! but glad to know it's available.
