OK 1st...I'm so jealous that you bought 6 new finches today!!! Lucky Stiff

Ginene - I have been staring and staring - I just can't figure out your avatar! I am going to hit myself on the head and say "DUH" if you tell me what it is?

Looks like a candled (and fertile) Finch egg to me! About day 4-5. :)

Lauren...LOL!!! I chose this as my avatar because I am completely birdless at the moment :( ...but I am expecting birds within the next 7 weeks or so :) . Lol!!! So this is me "expecting"...and it is a fertile, candled egg...but not one of mine. Its actually a photo the forum provides as an avatar choice. It's the most appropriate one for me at the moment . Hopefully some day I will figure out how to modify one of my own pictures to use as my avatar.

I chose this for my avatar because it makes me think of Mumble and Gloria. The other finches that I am getting are already born, weaned, fully molted and waiting for October to arrive. Yours will be the babies of my flock <3...

Ginene Loki says his babies may be the youngest, but they will be strong like Ox! He is making them especially for you, Big Joe & Lil Joe as we speak (chasing poor Lorelei around right now). :)
