I don't think Jennie saw your question...but she used a bamboo nest. Those babies are so cute. It would be so cool to pair Woodstock with a BC and possibly get some BC babies. Now we just have to find a BC for Jennie...

So how reliable is having a wide tear as a marker for hidden BC gene? (split to BC). My CFW hen chick Pearl has a tear that is as wide as her eye. Her mother, also CFW, has a very thin tear, her father is NG pied, so kind of hard to tell, but his sister (Pearl's aunt) has a very wide tear as well. Wondering what might be hidden in there that I might be able to bring out.

Yes...I literally can't wait!!! Sally is setting up the shipment from Texas for soon after October 8th. Eight finches will be sent via airline to minimize stress and exposure to the weather...M/M BCCB's, M/M Stars, M/M owls and M/F societies. We are meeting Martie in Binghamton to purchase a M/F green singer pair. She is putting them together now so that they will be bonded!!! Chelsea will be sending us a M/F Penguin Zebra pair as soon as they are old enough...they aren't even eggs yet, so they might not join the flock till November/December??? :) It's all very exciting...

In Photobucket, click on the picture you want so that it is shown big on the photobucket screen.
Over on the right, there is a little box that says "Links to Share this Photo".
The bottom one is "IMG".
Click on the URL in the box (the stuff in the box) and you will briefly see it go yellow and say "copied".

Then come here and do Control-V ( ctrl-V) to paste that into your post.

Submit your post, and when it comes up, it will show the picture not the link.
