I'm a keeper of Red Factor & Fife canaries. Our breeding season is just starting up. They are now all paired up in the breeding cages, so fingers crossed, I hope it will be a good season.

Welcome Rusty and good luck with your breeding season!! I'm sure you will enjoy the site
I have 2 pairs of Fife canaries in my aviary who decided to start their breeding season early... No luck yet but its early days still. I love them, full of character and the males never stop singing!

Welcome Rusty! Where do you live? It is good info in case you need local advise plus we are all curious. Pictures are nice too! A couple of members of the Ft. Worth Bird Club have canaries of several varieties. They are neat birds!

Hi Rusty and welcome to the forum. I too have and breed canaries. We live in Mexico so our breeders are all resting and moulting now. Breeding season will start again in January or February....if I can make them wait that long....
Looking forward to seeing pics of the chicks
