I remember when I was in the same state, I had my cage and all the accessories but wasn't going to the breeder for a couple of weeks! Drove me crazy!
Do post pics when you get your babies!

I cant see a bath in there, do you plan on making one available to them, as finches love to splash water all over the place.
other than that it looks great
Addicted to Finches, yes I do admit it.
I pray they never find a cure.

I advise either remove that bottom grille...or cover with newspaper.Quite a few on here have had crippled birds from those things.

Your budgies are so adorable! My daughter has 4 budgies and I get to babysit my "Grand Fids" every once in a while. :D

It's hard to tell from a photo, but that looks like a 24x16x16 cage. That will be OK for a pair of finches, but once they have babies, you will need either more cages or a lot bigger cage. Especially with Zebras, they will start to squabble in a small cage.

I like the idea of plants, but they are taking up too much flying room. If you're looking for some privacy for your birds or if it's just for decoration, attach them on the outside. They will stay clean and frees up more room.
Plus it gives you something to do while you're waiting for your birds!
