I couldn't RESIST! My first crested Society!

I thought I could behave myself in Petsmart...I was sure they wouldn't have anything to tempt me. But...they had crested Socs! I have been wanting one ever since I caught sight of chirpy 's Rocksteady! So...this is Caper, and he's a boy! Sorry for the poor pic quality...I fully intend to put my real camera to work in the near future to show off all my new additions. Maybe tomorrow...

NOW......... Are you going to breed him seeing as the chances of getting MORE MORE MORE crested is almost promised!!!!! x with a choc like me so you get diff colored babies!!

How is he settling?

Nanajennie thank you! I can't believe they are suddenly carrying them in my area. There was a point when I was looking EVERYWHERE around here for them, and NO ONE had them. Weird.

Musetta Your super lucky, I have a Petsmart and a Petco, and neither one will carry finches anymore... I will have to keep my fingers crossed!

Congrats! He's really cute. His crest seems a little different than most, it's pretty cool that way.

Thanks, everyone! Ginene, here is what you do:

--finchbreederdatabase
--click on My Birds
--click on edit at the far right of any bird's name/info
--click on the bird's icon
--UNCHECK "Use Default icon"
--a whole list of mutations should appear and you can choose whichever one you want!
