Just gorgeous - and you've taken some truly wonderful photos. I especially love the one of the Goldbreast holding a feather - delightful! Thank you for sharing.

You have the ideal situation, IMO, and what I would love to have--a habitat aviary populated with one pair each of many different species. An aviary for pure enjoyment, perfect!

Thank you Sally :) What I'm finding quite amazing is how well everyone gets on. I've been lucky that I managed (unknowingly) to get finches & waxbills that half use nest boxes/baskets and half that weave their own nests. It definitely helps split the territory issues. Multiple feed and water stations help as well. I've learnt so much about these birds the last couple of months. They quickly let you know what does or doesn't work :)
