Forgot to say how much I LOVE your aviary! Lucky birds! And I like the idea of keeping the plants along the wall with the fountain. It leaves lots of flying room. And if you have feeding stations at the other end, they'll still come out in the open area a lot so you can enjoy them!

Thanks for the comments.

Steven - Thanks

franny - The silk greenery I've got so far came from a Michael's which newly opened not to far away. Nice selection. I didn't check out Wal-Mart. I will have to see what they have. I also have a some plastic ones which came from a pet shop. As for the placement of the greenery, I was envisioning most of it along the wall and around the fountain with a few shorter pieces elsewhere. I'm trying to keep the flying area maximized...that was the main reason to build a larger space for birds.

All I have to say is ... WOOOOOWWWW!!!.. You did an incredible job on that and I'm VERY jealous. Will you be putting any grasses on the floor? You are making me think how I can make my finch room into an entire aviary. Stop posting such great pics, you make us all jealous... Just kidding.
Kudos to you.
Please post more pics when you have the plants and all..

I'm so jealous. hehe..
