Bird can predict weather?

I know in the wild most of birds can foretell weather. Do you think our cage finches (which born from our home not outside in the wild) can also tell the weather? I noticed my finches are so happy when sunny days, but when it's raining ,or became so dark outside during daytime they appeared like not as active as normally. Sometime they even sounds like yelling or complaint to me lol! Just want to hear how you guys think of caged birds can tell or know the weather is good or not good?i just want to know more about my birds hope you don't mind my questions.

My gouldians and owls love the rain, they sing and dance and play in the puddles. They are housed outside and not inside though.

Thanks Debbie! Luckily you can put them outside and they can enjoy the nature environment too my finches housed inside and when it's raining or dark outside, which will be dark in my living room too. They still sing and play, just not as loud as normally when sunny outside.
