Red Fawn and Alumina Zebras

Post by Mands » Sat Nov 30, 2013 3:58 am

Got these little fluff balls today from a guy who specializes in Zebras. I couldn't resist them. Zebras have so many colour variations. I already have the black fronts, the Chestnut flanked, the Grizzles, the red breasted and now the red fawns and the Aluminas. Don't hold me to that I could very well have the names wrong. I am no expert yet !!!! =D>

Here are some pics of the red fawns and the alumina's.

Mands OMG how pretty!! They are absolutely adorable! I just squealed and then all my zebras squeaked, lol. We all approve!! And I love the second picture where the one on the left is like, "I'm so happy" and the one on the right is just looking like, "Huh?", LOL. And the third picture is adorable! I love when they sit there all chubby like that being all cute like and irresistible! Hope you will soon have a ton of multicolored babies!! Congrats, my dear!!

fhgwgads you are too funny. Can you imagine both of us in a bird shop, hopping up and down "I WANT IT I WANT IT I WANT IT NOW!!!!!" =))

My house is covered in seed !! until they all go out into the aviary with very precision like planning !!

I never thought i would become a zebra addict. I get my grizzle hen today as well. And also another pair of reds to go outside, they are only really young so they can stay inside for awhile with me so i can go googly eyes at them talking in that funny voice people do when they are talking to something cute.

I get rid of some cages, - hubby goes and fills them up !!!! he is just as bad as me you know - he bought the 2 pair yesterday NOT ME so now i cant get into trouble for bringing more birds home.

Merry bloody Christmas i say =D>

Mands LOL! I could totally see that! I would want every zebra. I could just imagine the looks on the faces of the employees if we walked in there and told them we were buying "ALL of them", lol! My apartment is covered in seed as well! I have a studio so the hulls get everywhere! I will mostly sweep up with a dust pan because my babies so not like the broom or the vacuum, lol. And I never thought I would fall in love with these guys as much as I did either! I had mentioned in passing to my dad that I had always wanted them and then forgot I had mentioned it and he brought my pair for my birthday. Then in what seemed like no time later I had a million! They really are amazing! And I totally stand there all day going gaga over them and talking to them in a high pitched voice, lol! I am so excited for all your babies though! I can't wait to see tons of pictures and hear about all their personalities! I am sure they will all be spoiled! It definitely is a very zebra Christmas!!
