I need your help !!! All chicks DEAD in 3days from hatch !!

This is my best pair , they had success clutches last season (when they laid 5eggs or 6 whatever they all did hatch !!) About a weeks ago , they hatched 5 eggs. All of them died 3rd day from hatch.. them I remember... the one befor this clutch was under Societies. They tossed all just hatched chicks , some were still in half shell. Never happened to me before !!! ( but this society pair was new pair...so Im not sure that cuz, babies or just unexperienced society's??) Ok, I did Gram stain & Fecal culture ( cost me $116..) 《RESULT》gram stain was normal. BUT, Campylobacter, Staphylococcus, Proteus species , klebsiella were grow. Oh I got headache. Buy the way, these are from my Gouldian pair !! They look perfectly normal & healthy. How they got those bacterias ???? Dr said Doxycycline or Trimethoprim are good for these bacteria. I have a Vetafarm Doxyvet liquid, but how to use of this ? Any one know or same experience ??? My head is gonna be explored !!!! ( The Dr are still working ...I can't talk to him for details yet. ) I need someone to break down and explain for me.....please.

I am not too sure if your babies were under societies or parent raised or if your Gouldian were parent raised or foster raised. Either way this article will be helpful.
Also not sure if you keep your Gouldian and Society together.

monotwine. They were under parents. Dad was parents raised. Mom I don't know...My Gouldians are separate with societies

I'm sorry to hear about your headache (and your losses). While you are visiting the link, go email Laraine from the website. She offers AWESOME advice and she usually responds to emails everyday. Sounds like they were exposed to the society's which may be carriers of the disease. Your very lucky to have a vet available, I would follow your vets advise.

This is what I need to do. Doxyvet for 7days , then 2days Probiotic, again 7days of Doxyvet. To Gouldian pair & Forstes(society). No need to do special cleaning for cage..cuz, they're transmit from mouth not from dropping. Now on I need to do this treatment for societies befor let them Forster. He said I don't need to worry about Gouldians. Hopefully, no more dead chicks..

If it is confirmed that the society's are carriers of a disease deadly to gouldians so that they must be medicated to foster, I would not use those society's.

Im still little confused.. cuz, poop was from my gouldian pair. No chicks dyed like this from foster before. But Dr told me to treat all my societies& the pair who lost all chicks. Then I asked for next clutch, Do I need to treat them again before clutch or foster. .. He told me to do treat just societies each time before fostering. Not to worry about Gould's. My head is not clear yet.. butI have no choice, but see what's gonna happen next clutch.

It sounds like he is prescribing medication like in the article http://ladygouldian.com/Fostering-with-Society-Finches for Campylobacter. If your not sure I would ask the vet more questions so that you understand fully the situation.
