Two cages into one...
I bought two of the Petco flight cages 18x18x30, took the top off one and the bottom off the other and wired them together. They were on sale so it was. Lot cheaper than buying a larger cage.

No, that would make it 18x30x36 high. The petco cages are 30" long, and 18 high x18 wide.
If you have the room, putting them end to end to make it 60" long is a lot of fun to watch them be able to fly around.

Sorry, was going off of the 18x18x30 measurements given, not familiar with Petco cages.
Would have still went side to side rather then taller.

I'm sure they love all the extra space. Nice cage!

I bet they're having a blast! Their muscles will get much stronger with all of that space to exercise

My birds love their larger flights. And I do too.
Seeing them in their element is much more enjoyable.

My Silver Splt male is a teenager and my female Florida Fancy is a pre teen, it is so funny. They feel they need to build something but what....he puts it in the nest and she throws it out.....

Re: Two cages into one...
lol That's zebra finches. My first pair took about six months to figure out what in the world to do. They'd build a nest and she'd lay eggs and he'd pull everything out and start over. And they just kept going through the process until their first chick hatched in an empty nest box. After that everything clicked and they were perfect parents.
My current zebras are just so naughty. I've got six fledglings who all like to aggravate each other and six hens in another flight who have a four inch rule. If anyone gets closer than that they fluff up and bicker with each other.
The two breeding pairs just live inside their nest boxes. lol I see them peeking out at me when I feed and water.
