Here he is. Cousin It.

How do we get a photo directly into our response? I am using photobucket as you can see and use the image attachment button but none of them are putting image directly in...you have to go thru the link....

Is there a trick for this forum?

uploading pics:

Click on "POSTreply" tab at the bottom of this page.
In the "upload attachment" area click on "browse"
Tell it where your picture is
Click "add the file"
It will now automatically resize (thanks Crystal) and be attached to the bottom of your post.
If you want it in your post click the area you want it to appear and then click the button "place inline"

To check for obesity - blow the feathers away from the crop area just above the breast and again under the rib cage in the abdomen area. See signs of fat under the skin? It will look like yellow pillows.

katlovesaandw awwwwww! What a pretty boy! My Benjamin is the biggest and looks like him! Same coloring and marking w the hair ;)

She has that same angular look to the breast area. I have never blown to check for fat but when I move and put them in a smaller cage I will check when I catch them!

I just love the hair!
I will try to catch him to do the obesity check!!
He has shown interest in hopping off the perch to go check out the food and then chickened out.
And I have heard noise from him. Fester called and chirped and Cousin It answered.....

We will see.... I thought 5 was fine until I saw Cousin It online yesterday during lunch....and 2 hours later I was driving to get him!LOL Now I have 6.
So, never know....

Oh and he was up on next perch up for a brief period. Then was back down. Didn't see him go up nor down....he did it when I looked away both times!LOL

Ok, just witnessed him hop down to food dish and then turned and flew back up to perch. He didn't stay long at food....but he knows it is there now and I know he can get to it ok.....

Now it is all on him!LOL

katlovesaandw witnessed the flying! thank god he has the ability to fly! was it good flying (normal?)

I saw my Roseanne was "thinning" on her head today.. I think shes going through a molt. I was going crazy like "OMG PLUCKING!!!!!" til i saw that there were little mini feathers everywhere. duh

Yep, he wasn't listing to one side or anything. It was only maybe an 8 in. flit up but it was more than we have had in 24 hours.
I think he is just intimidated with the spazzy 5 after being alone for 4-6 weeks..... if I had known that beforehand.... I might have put him in cage next to them for a few days and then together... vs. just here is your new family member....

Poor little introvert and I shoved him into a crowded room of loonies!
