moving baby gouldians to another aviary
I have a colony type aviary with mixed finch. many of the finch are breeding and I'm running out of room fast... How soon after the chicks stop feeding from parents can I relocate? I was told that I had to wait until they fully color...that's taking longer then expected...

Re: moving baby gouldians to another aviary
Young can be moved to their own flight when they are eating and drinking on their own. I wouldn't recommend re-homing any till after their adult molt though so they don't get overly stressed.
good luck
