Hey glad to find this amazing forum im from trinidad and have only recently started taking care of bullfinch I love them I am addicted now been reading alot while waiting to be approved wanted to know if most of these tips with different food types and kixtures would be good for my bullfinch aswell

Welcome to the forum! There's lots of good reading at the Finch Information Center, linked at left, and the members are always ready to help. If you put your general location in your profile, it helps when answering locale-specific questions. I don't know anything about bullfinches, but hopefully someone else on here will be able to answer your questions. We'd love to see photos of your birds.

I think the bird you are calling a bullfinch is also known as the Towa Towa. It's black with a chestnut colored breast?

Yes that wud be the bird i am speaking about also called lesser seed finch

There is a member here Rayray who breeds them in an outdoor aviary. If you use the search feature and look for his name you can find several threads where he's shared some of his experience with them. I'm not sure that he's as active anymore, but you might try pm-ing him to see if he can help you with their diet.
