Great topic, Hilljack13.
The problem I seem to have is that the millet I planted took forever to sprout seeds and when it did there weren't all that many seed heads :(
I mostly have been feeding my birds seed heads of wild grasses but would like to grow more millet for convenience sake.
We'll be heading into winter in this part of the world soon, can millet be grown and will it seed in winter?

Firefinch,

I would have to look first but I don't think millet is a cool weather plant, although a lot of similar species are used for cover crops in fall/winter. You can give it a shot or try to grow some indoors under a lamp.
