Since one just showed up in our backyard today, I have to go with a Painted Bunting. I believe they are illegal to keep in captivity though (in the US). Gorgeous birds...

Can you believe my new aviary is just sitting there empty. Since I got it and then the new birds at the sale a couple of weeks ago, the weather has turned really bad and cold, so I haven't been able to put any of them out there. Lovely aviary all ready and setup to go but no tenants as yet. Probably be after September now until they can go out.

Yes, it is extremely frustrating, today it is sunny but the rest of the week is rain and cold nights AND I have another sale in 3 weeks !! Lucky I still have all the flight cages in the back room that they can go into if I buy anything there.

My wish list is a pair of Yellow backed white breasted Gouldians, and a pair of Tri-coloured parrots, and whatever else i see that fits in with the rest. I am saving all my $$$$ so hopefully I get what I am after.
