Gouldians are notorious for being picky eaters, so you may have to offer treats many times before he will eat them, but chopped up veggies are so good for them. Dark green veggies have tons of good vitamins, etc--kale, broccoli, romaine (cos) lettuce. You can try corn, peas, carrots, he will let you know what he likes. Raw, chopped very small. Cucumber is not supposed to be very nutritious, but my birds love it, so I give it often as a treat. I give them round slices, and they eat all the insides, leaving a dried-up green ring at the end of the day!
