Never shuts up...how did you pick your finch name??

One of my foster male Zebras neverrrrrr shuts up, I named him Ted. Nugent, Sneaky Pete is the other male, anything he finds he tries to start a nest, carrot green in water dish-na, millet stem in seed cup- na, ripped flooring (paper towel) on top of toy- na.......but my other foster I am not sure if male or female?

Hi Brenda.
Most Zebras never shut up. If you have one whose quiet, that would be SOMETHING!
They are just vocal little guys that really should go into politics. Always have something to say and very opinionated.
As to your little fella who is a happy builder, he might simply be precocious, or maybe bored. If it keeps him happy, let him build away. At least he is not laying eggs.
Your third baby (boy or girl) sorry I don't know. I don't trust my judgment anymore...

I can't see the zebras heads in the back and I'm not knowledgeable about zebra mutations;however, I'll take a stab at this and see if the zebra experts (AKA, Cindy) chime in with their opinions. I'd guess the one in front is a hen because the beak looks a light orange, than a red for males. However, I know some mutations the males can have a lighter beak and hens can have a reddish beak, but I can't recall which mutations that applies to, so this is just my guess.

The two in the back are the same except nod has a silver stripe under his wing, the other has no silver but the front zeb is the second youngest, I am hoping a female. She does not sing yet that is, I will send a good picture of all four tomorrow hoping for 2 pair life would be better.....thanks will send lic tomorrow....
