SO!
I thought if Roseanne is better today I will take the heat off.

Then during some time in the morning one finch spazzed out sending them all nuts..... And there was that beaking sound, panting... It sounds like it Newman frkn Seinfeld ran a marathon he'd be panting and making that dog toy noise. What's going on..?! She's fine until she freaks out...!

Hi Chirps.
I wonder if she could have some sort of a heart condition . Do birds ever have heart problems? Or like an asthma sort if thing? I know it's a long shot, but it makes me think of these sort of problems in people. I hope she'll be ok. I think I've asked this before, but is she getting older?

I don't know about those problems. But my other finch friend might think something is disturbing her and she's become very skittish. It doesn't make sense that she suddenly goes like this AFTER flying around crazy. So I think it might not be an illness but a stress factor.
I do have a cat so I have been closing her off the master room so I hope she calms down.

Could it be a panic attack like people get? That is like an asthma attack brought on by stress. I would keep the cat away from the birds. Where is the python?

wildbird I get panic attacks when I get EXTREMELY upset its embarrassing - i also have asthma too :( So i guess if it is indeed THAT then I know the feeling.
She has been away from the birds unless its my fault that I left the door open. but pretty much she can not get in.

The python is in the living room away from the birds (birds are in the master). it also is locked up so there is no way he can get out :)

I really dont want it to be anything but praying its not a illness. It doesnt make sense how she doesn't get it then after flleeing shes just "unwell".

I have a question. its quite HOT here and if nobody is using the heat lamp I can take it away right?

Yes, take the heat lamp out. It sounds like stress to me, not an illness.
