Deborah, this is the little baby that Helen had. He probably should go back to Helen, because she has other Gouldians. I have none at this time, so he would have no company of his own species.

He's just had his last meal for the day and now a little quality time with me--after he's pooped on me first, of course! This baby is so different from my handfed waxbills. At this stage, they would be pecking at my skin, tugging on my hair, flying on top of my head, down to the shoulder, and back again. He is so quiet, just hops around on my t-shirt, will go up to my shoulder but that is the extent of exploring.

That's so cute. I would love for my Gouldians to perch on my shoulder like that, but I'd rather not have to hand feed them!
