Haha, thanks Ginene. I'm hoping it will look real nice in a couple of weeks. Im helping another forum member and taking her birds and flight cages. I'm going to have to rearrange everything to get all the cages and birds settled. But once that's all done and finally settled once and for all where it can look nice and I can clean around them easily I'll be set. It's just a bit to warm out there for me to sit and enjoy wine though. One of the things I miss about them being in the house. I don't miss the mess though, and with as many as I have now the noise would be unbearable, not to mention a bit of an eye-sore in the dining room...lol

Colt...you have a real breeders set-up, Colt...I cant imagine the mess or noise in the house either. Congrats on the new additions...I hope it all works out for you and your friend. I wish you many healthy, happy babies in your future

I love your bird room! Where I have my art studio now used to be a bird room for our parrots when we had them. I have one of my finch flights in there with me to enjoy as I work now, and the bigger one is in a corner next to a window in my living room. I love the shelves. Clean and neat. I have thoughts of connecting several large cages together across one long wall, and that would be perfect to sit them all on. Thanks for the idea!

Ginene It looks like a beautiful space to sit and relax. I bet you spend many hours in there with your feathered friends. I wish I was closer, I would love to join you =D>

Hi Ginene: Your bird room looks great! It's been a long while since I've been on here. I hope everything is going well. I downsized my finch collection and had a few recent (and bizarre) nighttime casualties. But I'm still enjoying the hobby. :D

Grant!!! Welcome back, my friend!!! You have been missed :) . I am thrilled that you are still enjoying finches, even after losing some. I continue to LOVE my birds too (a parrotlet as well  ) even after all of the loss I experienced. I guess when you love finching as much as we do, you learn to put the past in the past and enjoy the little ones you are blessed to have now. xoxo

Ginene, you bird room is seriously gorgeous!! The wall decorations are beautiful, and the lighting is perfect. It is fantastic, your birds are living the good life. :-)

KarenB
Hmm....I have an art room....surely there is space for a few birds in there!

I was thinking about painting the wall behind my aviary, much like ginene's decals.... hmmmmmmm....
Some birds are not meant to be caged, that's all. Their feathers are too bright, their songs too sweet and wild.

limeslide...thanks :) . I really enjoy spending time in here, listening to my guys sing their little hearts out. As for pic of my birds...I have pics but they're not great. My avatar is a great picture of my GS pair. It was taken by their breeder Martie. Here are some pics I took with my phone of my other guys:
