Re: A Chopped Feast!!!!
I made a blend of quinoa, carrots, broccoli, celery and kale and eggs for my finches, and it made quite a bit more than I expected! Now that I know how much this makes, I will be cutting back the recipe a bunch of course, but I don't want to waste what I made!
Do any of you store this type of food for a day or so? How long does it tend to last? I have a large air-tight container of it still!
They have totally gone to town on every single part of it though-- they both end up with incredibly messy faces and clean each other off after they eat.
I am incredibly thankful I found so many wonderful ideas here!

any left overs I store in the fridge until the next day and incorporate it into the next day's veggie mix

Re: A Chopped Feast!!!!
Broccoli should be fed in moderation (once or twice a week), try kale, collard greens, romaine, corn, peas, squash......
