Hi Lisa,
What lamp is that you have over the cage. The lighting looks pretty good.
How are you liking the cage, I have one on order.

Hi there, the light I have is a full spectrum floor lamp that I got online from full spectrum solutions. I love it and so do the birds. I am going to a bird show this weekend and hopefully add to the aviary.

Lisa,
Very nice set up.
Am I mistaken or do you have Red Cheeked and Blue Capped Cordons in the same flight?
If I'm correct you may or may not know, but they can breed with one another, and that may not be something you want if you are wanting to keep the blood lines pure.

Hi Sean, yes you are correct I do house a pair of each in my flight, but I have no nests in the flight, so no ever lays eggs...I love my birds but I am not into breeding. Thanks for posting glad you liked the flight

Thank you for the input Lisa. Did you get the 42 W ($100) or 75 W ($200)? I'm wondering because I'll have the same size cage and that amount of light in your picture looks pretty good.
Have fun at the bird show!
Thanks again.

I got the 75 watt, but I got mine a few years ago and at the time they were a little cheaper. but I love the light and it has been going strong, I have yet to replace the bulb. good luck
