I am in the process of talking with a breeder and looking for a pair of zebras. She asked me what mutations or colors I would prefer.......... ummm any help here?
I have no idea about what mutations would be good to start with.
Thanks

Welcome to the forum! There's lots of information to read at the Finch Information Center to the left side of your screen. Enjoy !

Welcome to the forum! As finchmix22 said, there's lots of good reading at the Finch Information Center. If you check under the Species section there, there are many photos of different Zebra mutations. Another source of mutation information is
www.efinch.com.
If you put your location in your profile, it makes it easier to answer locale-specific questions later on.

My advice is take a look at them in person, pick the pair that YOU like the most regardless of popularity. They are fun birds and you cannot go wrong! My favorites have always been my penguins.

Welcome to the forum
rn2b123. Zebras are amazing birds. You can't go wrong no matter what you pick. They are all special in their own ways and have their little personalities, each unique and individual. You're going to really enjoy them! Would love to see what you decided to get.

Welcome! Agreed....get the ones that appeal to you. I personally like the black cheeked ones, but I don't have any zebras, so I'm not much help there. I just got into finches a little under a year ago, and I am totally hooked. They are like potato chips.....

Thanks for all the replies. Awaiting pics today of them!
I'm so happy to have found this board, and I'm sure I will have tons of questions as I have only ever owned larger parrots.
