August 13th
They pretty normal, chirpy and just another day, today they made another noise I never heard before, but it appears no hatching as yet, soon soon!!!!...........

I spent today busy building the new larger cage so after the little ones are eating on their own I will give my pair a new home, after all they deserve it. bigger and better, longer flight paths etc. with all the trimmings

Here is hoping!

So exciting!,
CHIRP !!
Has the stork arrived at the Zebport?
Any sign of babies?
In addition to eating more, you may also see a telltale behavior where it's the bird equivalent of wiping your lips after eating. They do this right after feeding the babies. So watch them as they finish eating to see how they move their beak, then look to see if they're doing this in-nest. Often, you'll see one in the doorway of the nest doing this behavior and you can tell they've just fed the babies.

August 18th. They seem pretty the same today, swopping turns, I am getting worried, I don't know if any chicks are hatched ( day 15 sitting on eggs) and I don't want to open the box, may disturb them, if nothing gets my attention by next week Monday I will look.

Don't peek yet!
Let's say, theoretically, the first one or two were DIS or infertile. You could still have hatching action moving forward.
So I wouldn't worry too much. Not yet!
Plus, if there's just one in there, you may not see too much of a jump in the amount of food intake.
But ha, it's waaay easier for me to dish out advice.
Sitting on your hands is ***much*** easier said than done!
The suspense would be killing me too!
