finchmix22 WOW lovely !!! I especially like the black heads. I was at a friends house yesterday who had every colour you could imagine, beautiful big sunlit naturally planted aviaries, they looked stunning in the sunlight. It was amazing he was explaining every single bird to me, what colour, who they were from etc....my head was spinning !!! He had over 150 Gouldians in his aviaries, it was awesome.

I would love to get into them more but I already have 3 pair and I don't have any room for anymore. AND I just cant wrap my head around the genetics....I try and I try but it is all foreign to me

Thanks! I sent a message to the breeder and tomorrow, I"ll send him the band numbers, so he can tell me what each one's genealogy looks like. He said he thinks the parents raised the clutch all by themselves, so maybe they could be good parents.
