Geez you're on fire. Please send some of that mojo my way. I seem to have lost it since I got that cursed lightback male. I saw mine mating last night and this morning. I'm sure they've been doing it for some time now. I just want one egg, ONE egg, to break this dry spell....

afinch Man, I was in a wicked dry spell too, and then all the sudden everyone wanted to make eggs. No idea why, I guess they group-thought it up.

WrenNAustinTX - Totally OT, but how did you get the different zebra mutations to show up in your little icon? I only have the generic normal grey zebra icon. I looked it up, but they didn't have the specific mutations listed. Which site did you use? http://www.finchbreederdatabase.com/ or is there another one that I don't know about??

And congrats on your eggs!
I'm expecting too on the 14th, so I know the excitement!

MiaCarter http://www.finchbreederdatabase.com/php ... manual.php and scroll down to "Signature" and click it and follow the instructions :) also, under each bird's page is "icon" next to "picture" at the top. Click "icon" and unclick "use default" and choose!

WrenNAustinTX -- Thanks! Unticking the 'use default' did the trick!! It was driving me nuts. I'd searched through all of the species pages and everything!

That is one ***very*** handsome boy you've got there! He's really lovely!

MiaCarter Thanks! I'm hoping to get a big BC boy from him, and breed that to my gigantic splitBC English hen. I saw a big BC English boy in the aviary I got her from...oh my, he was HUGE and so beautiful!

afinch -- Oooh, I've never seen a BC/CFW mix! I bet that would be gorgeous with the black on white contrast.

Dude, I'm excited to see what those lovelies look like! (And send one my way!! LOL)

MiaCarter Lol you got it.

My female CFW is split to BC. So I might do a backcross with one of her CFW males (if I get one that is also split for BC) to hopefully get some BC CFWs. Will keep you posted on how it goes.

By the way, do a quick google. They're etremely pretty.
