First Moult

When do Gouldian chicks moult into their adult colors. My babies were born in Sept. and haven't started yet. Is this normal? I hope they do soon. I am dying to know what they will look like. One of the babies has started to sing, not as well as Daddy but definately a song in there. Is that normal too? It's very sweet.

Yes, all is normal - you can't rush Mother Nature nor a good thing!

have had a few juvenile gouldians that have taken 12 months to attain full color. most years though all of my gouldians moult in october and november.
