My Lil Owl died

Post by hfentj » Sun Nov 30, 2008 5:58 pm

It was a runt that came with four that I bought, It made it 9 months, I had a gut feeling about it and chose to give it a chance. You never know till you give it a try. :(

I'm sorry for your loss. At least you know it had a chance to live in a nice place with love.

I feel bad that you lost the little guy, but like you said, you took a chance, and I am sure that he had the best nine months he could have gotten! I hope the other ones are still doing okay, remember them and be happy they are still there for you!

So sad to hear you lost the little Owl Hfentj. I would have though being he made it 9 months he might have been ok. Guess Mother Nature decided he wasn't alright. :(

Thank you for your replies, the other owls are fine. This one was tiny compared to the rest. Again thank you. Heidi

So sorry to hear that, Heidi. I think that sometimes those little ones only make it because of the extra care we give them, but that can only carry them so far.
