Today Anduin fledged! He/she is early I think since he/she hatched on the 15th of September.

SO CUTE!!

I tried to take a family picture.... but they just weren't having it.... so I did the best I could(hey at least they're all in the same picture)

Anduin is so cute! :) indeed if hatched on the 15th of Sep, then that's about 5-6 days earlier than it should be, usually finch fledge around 21 days of age from hatched day.

I have another clutch now which already about 17 days old now, but they are not out yet from nest lol. Maybe another 4 days or sometime they fledge little early than that, my baby finches still in nest now but stick their little head out to look down to see their daddy. Who's busy eating and feeding them since they hatched, the hen was little picking the babies so I separated her to the cage next to them. The daddy is doing great job by working hard to feeding them, I offered him a lot of soft food too. :D

Ah, fledge day! Always such a happy day because you finally get to really see what they look like, sort of like opening a present! Congrats!

Wow, he was a real precocial fellow, my society chicks never fledge before 26 days. Cute!

He's adorable!
So happy to see him looking so good! I know it was a bit touch and go for a while when the parents stopped feeding.

I had a sibling pair of zebras fledge at 16 and 17 days. I was shocked! Looks like Sir Anduin is an early bloomer too!
