I LOVE that! Seeing all these great outdoor aviators really gets me brainstorming.... I just got started too and only have 3 societies. I'm starting to understand the legitimacy of this finch addiction you all talk about. Seriously though, it looks wonderful and I'm interested to hear about temperature regulation.

Well, it's supposed to be 48 to 50 degrees tonight as a low. But warms up to 80 tomorrow. (Texas weather can be cool/cold at night and be hot the next day!!!) So I'm trying to figure out what will work for the finches....and me! I enclosed the screened in section of the gazebo with plastic and partially closed the entry door to see what temp will be like inside. Tomorrow morning I'll open the entry door for everyone to come and go. I'm monitoring the temp tonight as I type this. I'm feeling pretty good so far about controlling the temp inside....but prayers are always welcome!!! [-o<
