Hey Lovezebs, You know its bad when ...you bring the clothes in off the line and you need to thaw them before you can fold them. My mom had a toddle and 2 babies in diapers in Churchill Falls, Labrador.
...you put just about every piece of winter clothing on you can find, just to run across the street and the inside of your nose still freezes and you can barely open your lashes because your tears keep freezing up.
There are some things I just don't miss about my youth.

You know it's bad when.. someone tells you have fresh poop in your hair and your response is to instantly remove it and flick it elsewhere thoughtlessly, then wipe your hand on your pants and go back to business as usual. Poop has become a no thought.

If a non bird person enters my house of free flyers and hand raised babies and DOESN'T mention poop that is somewhere on something (possibly the ceiling) as if it's the end of the word - I know they are good people.

My philosophy is: Like me, like my birds, dogs, cats, fish etc.
I live In a Zoo, and If you don't like it, well... don't let the door hit you on the way out. If you have problems with hulls and feathers and dog and cat hair, there's the broom, and If that's not enough, there's the vacume. And if you have problems with live meal worms in the fridge, well no one asked you to go snooping.
My good friend Carolyn, is truly an angel. The poor woman is allergic to feathers, yet still comes over to visit. LOL.

LOL! I have had many horses over the years and have been known to bring in "horse biscuits" where they shouldn't be. I don't have children, so people who know me know all my animals are my kids, lol. Can't deal with it, then we ain't meant to be ;)
