MariusStegmann , finchbreeder database forecastor is right, if you read Deborah's post she said the hen was sg and cock split so offspring will be 50% sg hens+cocks and 50% normal hens+cocks.
Your pair has a normal hen so only sg hens are possible regardless of whether cock is sg or split

Yes, Smurf is correct. We have a different pair setup. I thought my male was normal and not split to SG, so at first, I thought I could tell the sex by the color. But, they gave me the slip and the male is actually split to SG, so with a SG hen, the babies could be male or female whether or not they are SG or RT, wow, what a challenge it's been. So, I had to sit and watch them several times to look for singers, then remove the cocks and listen some more. They are now, 10 months old and I have confirmed 2 SG hens, 1 RT hen and 1 SG cock. The hens started laying eggs, but they aren't with any males, so that confirms the sexes. The male sings all the time. LOL. Good Luck with your babies. Post some pics when you can too.

It will work out ok for me if the SG baby with the yellow beak turns out to be pied. She is not related to my pied SG cock and I would like to pair them up. My pied SG is now paired with with the first parrotfinch that I bred. His SG mate disappeared??? The young hen is RT and is 4 months old.

Unfortunately he is not mine. My pied SG cock is a bit less pied, but he is still very pretty.
