Babies in a basket

Post by Airlyn » Tue Nov 11, 2014 9:59 pm

I just wanted to share a pic and didn't know which topic to put it under. I keep a small basket in the cage and put nesting material in it when they need it. Right now it is empty and 3 of the 4 babies decided it was the perfect place to nap. Well they had been napping but me cramming a camera in their faces woke them up, lol I thought it was too cute!

That's some major cuteness right there! Thanks for sharing.

You know, that'd make a great greeting card cover.

Airlyn
That is awfully cute. Do your guys use it as a nest as well as a napping spot?

Thank you for the lovely comments regarding the photo of my babies.
@ Elana, no they have never tried to lay eggs in it as of yet.
Romeo has been seriously courting Tweetiet though. He dances and sings his little heart out since the babies fledged. He is quite anxious to expand his little family, lol
I don't have the nest box in there and am hoping he doesn't take a shine to the basket! Tweetiet ignores him though. She is too busy eating constantly to feed babies.
